Cookie Notice

Last updated August 20, 2026· v0.1

Draft — not yet in force

This Cookie Notice is a working draft pending legal review. It does not create obligations for either party and should not be relied on. For the terms that currently apply, see our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, or contact legal@crdntr.io.

This Cookie Notice explains how CRDNTR ("CRDNTR," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://crdntr.io and any other site we own or control that links to this notice (together, the "Sites"), and in our mobile app (the "App"). It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information generally.

What cookies are

Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They let a site recognize your device, keep you signed in between pages, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is being used.

We use both session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which stay on your device until they expire or you delete them. We also use first-party cookies, set by us, and third-party cookies, set by the service providers listed below.

What we use and why

The categories below match the ones in our consent manager. Only Essential cookies are set before you make a choice; everything else waits for your consent.

Essential

Required to operate the Sites and App securely. These are not optional, and disabling them will break sign-in, checkout, or both.

  • CRDNTR (first party) — session state, security tokens, and interface preferences such as your saved filters and last-viewed workspace.
  • Clerk — authentication and account security. Privacy policy
  • Stripe — payment processing and fraud detection at ticket checkout. Privacy policy
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — bot and abuse protection on sign-up and public forms. Privacy policy
  • Termly — records and stores your cookie-consent choices so we do not re-prompt you on every visit. Privacy policy

Analytics

Help us understand how the Sites and App perform and where people get stuck. Blocked until you consent.

  • Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights — aggregate page views and page-load performance. Privacy policy
  • Sentry — error and performance monitoring, so we can diagnose crashes and slow requests. Privacy policy

Functionality

Power specific features. Blocked until you consent; the feature is unavailable without them.

  • Mapbox — maps in the touring and venue tools. Privacy policy
  • Google Maps and Places — venue search and address autocomplete. Privacy policy

Advertising — public ticketing pages only

We do not run advertising cookies on CRDNTR itself. On a public ticketing storefront (an event page at https://crdntr.io/e/…), the event organizer may connect their own conversion pixels to measure their ticket marketing. Where an organizer has done so, those pixels load only on that organizer’s event pages, and only after you consent.

The organizer decides whether to enable these pixels and what to do with the data they collect, which means the organizer, not CRDNTR, determines the purposes of that processing. Questions about an organizer’s pixels should go to that organizer; their contact details are on the event page.

Other technologies

Browser storage

We use browser web storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) for the same purposes as essential and functionality cookies — for example, keeping a draft offer or a partially-completed advance form from being lost on refresh. Your browser settings can clear it.

Pixel tags in email

Marketing and announcement emails we send may contain a pixel tag that tells us whether the message was opened and which links were clicked, so we can measure whether the message was useful. Transactional email — order confirmations, advance requests, password resets — is sent regardless of your cookie choices. Most email clients can block remote images, which disables these tags.

Mobile SDKs

The App is built on the same web application wrapped in a native shell, so the same categories above apply. Where the App uses a third-party SDK, it is listed under the relevant category.

Your choices

  • Consent preferences. Change your choices at any time using the Consent Preferences link, which is also in the footer of every page. Strictly-necessary cookies cannot be turned off. The same panel lists the individual cookies in each category.
  • Global Privacy Control. If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and as a rejection of non-essential cookies.
  • Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in or buying tickets.
  • Blocking remote images. Most email clients can be configured not to load remote images, which disables pixel tags in email.
  • Industry opt-outs. For interest-based advertising, you can use the Network Advertising Initiative and Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tools. These are operated by those organizations, not by us.
  • Mobile advertising ID. Your device settings let you limit or reset the advertising identifier associated with your phone.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as our vendors or practices change. The version and effective date at the top of this page always reflect the current text. Material changes to how we use non-essential cookies will be surfaced through the consent banner so you can review your choices.
